2024 Year-In-Review: Innovation, Growth, and Excellence

As 2024 closed, we at RIDGID reflected on a year of innovation, collaboration, and growth. From groundbreaking product launches to continued community support, this year has reaffirmed our commitment to providing durable, high-performing tools that empower professional plumbers worldwide.

Unveiling Breakthrough Innovations

At RIDGID, innovation is the heart of everything we do. This year, we introduced several industry-first solutions designed to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability for the skilled trades.

• The most important product launched this year is the RP251 Press Tool. It is the most powerful compact press tool, compatible with all RIDGID Compact Series jaws, rings, and actuators. Almost 30% lighter in weight than its predecessor, the RP251 Press Tool is designed for work in tight overhead spaces and can press up to 35 mm on Copper and stainless Steel and up to 32 mm on Multilayer/PEX tubing.

Growing the RIDGID Community

In 2024, our partnerships with trade professionals and organizations expanded to new heights. We celebrated the skilled trades by participating in various fairs and specialized events.

• IFAT Germany. From 13 to 17 May, we attended IFAT, the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste, and raw materials management. We were excited to meet all of you, and we recharged with good vibes and lots of product feedback.
• InstallerShow UK. We continued the year with another important show, which took place in Birmingham, UK, between 25th and 27th June 2024. InstallerShow brought together plumbers from all over the UK, and we were excited to show our Press Tools line to all those who visited us.
• GET NORD Germany. Between November 21st – 23rd we met again in Germany, this time in Hamburg. Our team organized a special corner for all influencers and content creators who stopped by and the results were a hit.

Supporting Our Communities

One of the most rewarding activities is partnering with schools to provide hands-on training with RIDGID tools and helping the next generation of professionals build their careers.

• First Lego League. The First Lego League guides youth through STEM learning and exploration at an early age. As we are big supporters of STEM education, we attend the BENELUX chapter of this important event and we support young generations to find their way in the trades.
• “RIDGID Competition” – an event organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Installations in Cluj Napoca, Romania. The competition was set to check the technical knowledge the students acquired in school and test the skills they have when using RIDGID tools.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we look forward to the remainder of 2025, we stay dedicated to pushing boundaries and serving our customers. With exciting new products and campaigns on the horizon, we continue the investment in the trades community. The future of RIDGID is brighter than ever.
