RIDGID Wrenches For The Win
Funded in 1923, the Ridge Tool Company opened for business by designing and producing a new, heavy-duty pipe wrench that got the quality, strength and endurance demanded by the tool market. From the first moments and throughout the years, the company produced an ever-increased number of wrenches for the pipe-working industry. Each wrench was conceived and built with the user in mind, resulting in the line called “Prested Work-Saving Tools”.
Ever since the production of the first wrench, we made sure to deliver excellence and quality to the tool industry. Today millions of professionals count on a RIDGID wrench to get the job done. Marcin Dobjasz, a plumber in Warsaw, Poland, is one of them. Some of Marcin’s RIDGID wrenches date back to the 1980s and they are still going strong.
Let’s discover together why Marcin Dobjasz loves his RIDGID wrenches.
“Why RIDGID? It may sound funny, but I discovered RIDGID years ago, while I was at the movie theatre. I saw an advertisement for the "RIDGID" brand in the 1978 film called "Dawn of the Dead". Following the movie, I knew I had to try this brand.
In my opinion, RIDGID has the best wrenches to use for tough plumbing jobs. Over the years these wrenches helped me disconnect many old pipes that were almost impossible to part.
As a handyman, next to a decent workshop, I must have enough professional tools. With the help of my RIDGID wrenches, I managed to do from scratch the construction of the water system of my family recreational plot. I also use them for all the necessary repairs on plumbing systems at home/ family/ friends.
Thanks to the very strong jaws, RIDGID wrenches easily unscrew/ tighten the pipes or fittings on which other substitutes failed." - Marcin Dobjasz, plumber
