great pipe cutters
Rigid tools are the best by far and reasonably priced. I buy these pipe cutters along with all my other rigid tools from home depot. These pipe cutters are very durable. The first one I bought lasted me a few years if not longer so well worth the money.

Nice cutters
these are awesome cutters!!! I buy them at the Home Depot ... I wish they would carry the replacement blades, but I like them so well I just keep buying new ones when the old ones wear out!!! Lol

What is adapter for cutting multi layer tubing for and how does one use it?
No instructions of pictures anywhere on the packaging or on your web site that I can find. I have purchased cat No. 23493 plastic pipe & tubing cutter.
Thank you for contacting RIDGID! The adapter is usually in place on the end of the cutter when it is purchased, there should have been some brief instructions on the back of the packaging (see attached pic). The adapter has a two fold purpose during the cut it minimizes the amount of deformation during the cut, after the cut the cone shaped end is used to re-shape the tubing back to a round form.
