Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bearing cracked the bearing for the forward advance cracked, the outer race of the bearing was split. I admit i was not there when this happened so i do not know why, son with good intentions tried to help. I found that the bearing is a r3rs so i have them coming to repair the damage, overall a very good machine. Slow and easy is the way to go.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for small work. Broke on the 1st use. The bearings on the feed handle are very delicate, I broke 2 of them on the 1st use. Ridgid seems to have banker hours for there customer service. Store will not take it back used. Hopefully Ridgid will stand behind its product and send free replacement parts. The unit itself is a good useful tool for small drains. Very portable and has the power for tubs and sinks. Use gentle pressure on the feed lever.

Why does the cable bind in the drum every time I retract it in? This is an on going issue.

The only way I've thought to resolve this is to not attach the cable end to the hold down on inside of the drum.
