Immediately usable out of the box.
This was the first pipe cutter I've ever bought. Worked great cutting 1" manifold stock. The built in blade holder stores the spare blade it comes with. Great solid tool.

Great cutter in the sense that it doesn't spiral on the pipe like other brands. long lasting as well. The only problem I've had is the center handle screw has a tendency to unthread after a while
